More Holiday
who wants to go overseas with me?? i wanna go either redang or hk!! i want shop, play, eat, sleep and repeat the routine. or i can play sleep eat shop whichever combination you want it. or maybe we can find a nice beach n slack the day away. not sentosa definitely. i wanna go overseas not cross the sea.
the thailand trip last month was enjoyable and i rode on an elephant! haha its hair is so stiff and prickly. but i reckon its an unforgettable experience. =) food wise we only ate thai food once excluding the few catered lunch n dinner. mostly we ate fast food. hey macs n kfc are cheap over there. but bk is the SAME price. interestingly kfc has this bbq flavored chicken that is quite nice and they served rice with chicken and one of their side dishes is this tuna,corn and forgot what mixed together. it tasted ok.
saw a lot of transvestites or u would prefer it-ah guas. not that pretty as i thought although there are a few lookers. the carabet was worth watching in my opinion although it robbed me of 800 baht. as for shopping we only managed to cover the famous mah boon krong shopping mall and the pratunam complex. the things are not dirt cheap at these places. MBK too commercial to find good buys. its like another far east to me. we also went to this siam center gosh its a high end mall. the high prices explains the lack of crowd. i think if u want branded stuff u can jolly well get it at ur own country. not much of a price difference anyway. unless its like 30% difference then i'll grab it. (yes typical singaporean) coz i seriously lacked CASH when i'm over there. stupid me thought my atm card cannot be used there and shoosh almost all my cash was gone by the 3rd day. the 3 of us were hungrily waiting for our 1k baht deposit for the hotel on the 4th day when we checked out. haha. but well, the pathetic 1k baht lasted less than 2 hrs for me. -_- i'm left with 2 baht at the end of the trip. 2 baht = 0.0884955 singapore dollars. =D but hey i can go to the ladies 2 times in bangkok with 2 baht. =) but there is this very expensive toilet near hilton hotel in bangkok. it cost me 5 baht haha.
-lesson of the day go make a debit card if credit is out of your means or at least bring the dam atm card along.-
chuan hui say to go diving with her next mth but i'm out of shape. haven't been seriously exercising since prelims. unless cycling and bowling counts. i think i'll drown with my lackluster swimming ability. haha.
i'm so so so so so so bored at work.
