i'm liking family gatherings more =)

in the past, i tend to find such gatherings a bore, especially when i'll just sit around and stone the day away. as i grow older, i realised the importance of gatherings. it really helps to bond everyone together, my cousins, my aunts, uncles and even the boyfriends and girlfriends of my various cousins. in fact, i was rather touched that these gatherings did not stop, even after our 'pillar', my grandma passed away.

it is a pleasing feeling to chit chat, go around eating, drink some wine, trying to get my nephew to not call me auntie but jie jie instead, friendly squabbling with my cousins while they bully me, or just nua there. =)
